The Facilities Manager - Off Property is accountable for supervising all maintenance operations at different off-site structures, which may include residential facilities. This position requires adept leadership capabilities, strategic planning acumen, proficient budget oversight, and ensuring all maintenance tasks adhere to organizational and equipment protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in budget management and strategic planning.
- Certification in facilities management or related field is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage maintenance activities at off-site facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to optimize operations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance tasks as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Create and manage annual budgets for maintenance activities and projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of maintenance services.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or repairs as necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to enhance the efficiency of maintenance operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend continuous improvements in facility management processes.
