We are now accepting applications starting September 1, 2024 for the summer of 2025.

The following departments are open for summer workers and internships.

  • Guest Services: The Guest Services Coordinator internship will empower you to exercise various guest services techniques and cultivate essential leadership skills desired in the industry. As an intern, you'll be the first and last impression for our guests. You will coordinate and carry out our important functions and responsibilities that result in service that is tailored to each of our guests. We are seeking for an individual that is detail and people-oriented, ambitious, and enthusiastic about learning and growing in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Spa: The Spa and Salon Attendant Internship is the first step in developing your leadership skills to be intuitively responsive to the needs of our guests. As an intern, you will play an integral part in the daily functions and responsibilities of facilitating an outstanding Spa experience for both members and guests alike. We are seeking an extremely detail and people-oriented individual interested in growing their communication and guest service skills. Growth opportunities are available as the internship will include training in both the Spa and Salon.
  • Activities: Provide direct supervision to children attending Camp Breakers. Create and execute a camp plan for children ages 3 and fully potty trained up to age 12. Ensure the safety and security of the campers in your care at all times while creating an environment that is fun and engaging!
  • Pool&Beach: The Pool and Beach Attendant Internship is an amazing way to spend your summer gaining valuable service and sales experience in the South Florida sun. As an intern, you will play an integral part in the daily service in The Breakers most sought-after area to both members and guests alike. We are seeking friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented individuals interested in growing their communication and guest service skills. Growth opportunities are available as the internship will include training or shadowing in selling cocktails, arrival experience, and bungalow concierge services.
  • Ocean Golf: The Golf Operations Specialist Internship is an amazing way to spend your summer learning all aspects of the Ocean Course golf operation including how to provide great service for golfers upon arrival until departure. As an intern, you will play an integral role in the daily operation at the beautiful Ocean Course as you learn how we provide exceptional service to our hotel guests and club members. This is a well-rounded outdoor operations experience as you will learn all roles including clubhouse valet, driving range organization, golf cart and bag movement, ranger, locker room, beverage cart & caddying. You will also obtain exposure to the John Webster Teaching Academy. We are seeking friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented individuals interested in growing their careers in the golf industry.
  • Housekeeping: The Rooms Inspector Housekeeping Internship sets the foundation for understanding the operations of the Rooms Division. The Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality standards of guest room facilities, cleanliness, and amenities are met regularly. This position is an integral part of the daily functions and responsibilities of facilitating a superior guest experience.
  • Food & Beverage: For the Food & Beverage internship you will be placed in one of the 10 outlets as a Food Server Assistant, Host, or Server based on your skill set.
  • Audio Visual: The Audio Visual Internship is the first step in developing your technical skills to be intuitively responsive to the needs of our guests. Audio-Visual Interns will work directly with the Audio-Visual Supervisors and Technicians. The Intern will assist our technicians in the setup, running, and breakdown of AV equipment used throughout the building. The intern will also provide technical assistance and support throughout the building, as well as provide assistance and support during events as requested/needed. It is important that the Intern be familiar with the building, its equipment, policies, programs, and services, and the day-to-day schedule of events. This position offers the opportunity to grow as a student and professional.

Available Year-Round

Culinary: You will be placed as a Cook I in one of our 10 Restaurants Outlets or Banquet/Pastry Kitchens. In this role, you will work alongside experienced mentors and gain expertise in the various roles and stations within either Restaurant or Banquet operations.
