Job Summary:
The Operations Manager - Audio Visual will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, ensuring equipment integrity and storage, and utilizing the team's skills to deliver high-quality audio visual services, excellent customer service, and enhanced productivity. This role involves overseeing team development, conducting interviews, scheduling, managing budgets, coordinating with Sales Managers, liaising with vendors, troubleshooting client issues, and fostering positive relationships with various departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. Desired but not required.
- Proven experience in audio visual operations or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot effectively.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
- Certification in Audio Visual Technology (AVIXA, CTS) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain operational standards for audio visual services.
- Manage equipment inventory, storage, and maintenance.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop team members.
- Prepare schedules and oversee payroll budget.
- Coordinate with Sales Managers for meeting and event resources.
- Plan and execute capital expenses; order equipment and supplies.
- Liaise with rental vendors and high-end clients for AV needs.
- Troubleshoot client issues and collaborate with other departments.
- Stay updated on industry changes and advancements to ensure high-quality services.
