The Sales Coordinator - In Room Dining is responsible for greeting guests over the phone with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm to assist them with their dining orders. This role involves providing personalized food and beverage recommendations, handling multiple calls, accurately processing orders, and maintaining a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with point of sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests over the phone in a professional and enthusiastic manner
- Provide customized food and beverage suggestions based on guests' preferences
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system
- Assist with order set up and table preparation when needed
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests

- Handle inquiries related to gifts from guests and other hotel departments
