Job Summary:
The Manager of Staff Relations is responsible for overseeing and managing the staff relations process to ensure equitable and respectful treatment of all employees. In addition to providing guidance to managers on counseling and coaching, this role involves monitoring compliance with employment laws, analyzing staff relations issues, applying company policies, and making recommendations for disciplinary actions, including termination. The Manager also plays a key role in managing unemployment compensation administration, conducting exit interviews, and presenting during new hire orientation to promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
