Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager at Breakers West is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including budgeting, hiring, coaching, training, menu development, and creating a culture of teamwork. This role involves establishing standard operating procedures, procurement processes, and internal marketing programs to increase participation in F&B activities. The Food and Beverage Manager will also be in charge of managing banquets, social functions, and member events, as well as developing and monitoring plans and budgets to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate food and beverage budgeting, hiring, coaching, training, and menu development
- Establish standard operating procedures and procurement processes
- Develop and implement internal marketing programs to boost participation in F&B activities
- Oversee banquets, social functions, and member events
- Develop and monitor plans, budgets, and procedures for F&B operations
- Manage policies, operating procedures, and staffing for all F&B areas
- Set and maintain expectations for dress, decorum, and service standards
- Monitor adherence to standards and take ownership of operational excellence
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food and beverage management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
