Manager- Communications

Department: Communications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and creative Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help to execute high-impact internal and external campaigns that elevate our brand, as well as other initiatives to support key business objectives. Operating in a fast-paced department, this position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for storytelling, brand stewardship and luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

-Strategic communications: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with our brand and support independent campaign goals

- Media relations: Cultivate and grow engagement with press contacts; lead media outreach, respond to journalist inquiries, and coordinate on-site visits and stays

- Press content: Draft and edit press materials including, but not limited to, releases, Q&A’s, biographies and talking points

- Brand alignment: Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints

- Collaboration: Work with all departments to support their communications needs

- Internal Communications: Assist in managing employee app, fostering engagement across a diverse team

- Administrative Responsibilities: Manage billing, media clips and monthly reporting

- Industry Monitoring: Stay informed on hospitality trends and provide strategic insights to leadership

- Other: Assist with crisis communication efforts

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
- Strong understanding of media relations and press outreach.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
