Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications Coordinator to support the execution of internal and external campaigns and initiatives that elevate our brand and support key business objectives. This fast-paced, entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to grow in the luxury hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with media relations, including press inquiries, outreach, and coordinating visits and stays
- Support the development of press materials such as releases, Q&As, biographies and talking points
- Ensure brand message consistency across all channels
- Assist with drafting and publishing internal communications for The Breakers’ team member app
- Collaborate with internal departments to support their communications needs
- Maintain press archives and monitor media coverage
- Compile performance reports and assist with administrative tasks including billing and media clipping
- Support crisis communications as needed
- Stay informed on industry trends and share relevant insights
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in communications or public relations
- Strong writing, editing and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with ability to work partial remote
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite a plus
