Job Summary:
The Coordinator - Gift Department at The Breakers Hotel is responsible for managing the activities of the Gift Department to ensure the complete satisfaction of guests and internal departments. This role involves maintaining gifting procedures and standards, coordinating gift orders, tracking guest preferences, and preparing gifts for delivery or distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, networking, and computer skills.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Associate degree (AA) with at least 1 year of experience in the administrative field is desired.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all gift orders for hotel guests and club members.
- Record and execute all gift orders accurately.
- Track guest preferences and trends for future reference.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with gifting guidelines.
- Report inventory needs and assist in preparing gifts and personalized cards for delivery.
- Provide suggestions from the Gift Guide to meet individual guest needs.
- Maintain quality standards for gifting and contribute to tracking and analyzing gift trends.
