Job Summary:
The Supervisor - Banquet Setup is responsible for overseeing setup attendants to ensure all events meet hotel and departmental standards. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of storage areas and event spaces, assisting with carrying and lifting event equipment, and providing assistance to clients during setup and teardown.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event setup or related field
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Supervise setup attendants to ensure events meet standards
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and event spaces
- Assist with carrying and lifting event equipment
- Provide assistance to clients during setup and teardown
- Distribute work sheets to team members
- Report any damage to company property to managers or hotel security
