Job Summary:
The Facilitator must be energetic, possess excellent foot speed and exhibit a friendly demeanor. This role works closely with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner. The successful candidate is also responsible for ensuring impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant, executing food and beverage service according to The Breakers standards, and adhering to food safety standards. Additionally, the Food Server Assistant must clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after guests have departed. They must set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area), assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant. Our newly designed lobby bar will feature an elevated, open-concept layout that creates a welcoming and seamless guest experience. Designed as a thoughtful touchpoint within the hotel, the space will offer a curated selection of beverages and light pastries, providing guests with a comfortable place to pause. Whether they are arriving for check-in, heading out to explore the town, or preparing for dinner plans, the Lobby Bar will simply enhance the overall convenience and enjoyment for guests.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous experience as a food server assistant or a similar position in a restaurant setting; however, this is not required. They must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate must also be detail-oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
