Job Summary:
The Breakers Baker is responsible for safely and efficiently preparing high-volume food orders in a professional and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate must be able to execute and follow established pastry recipes while adhering to required food safety regulations. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to work quickly and efficiently with a friendly and can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established recipe guidelines to prepare and cook pastry orders in a timely and consistent manner.
- Set up and maintain a station that meets the required level of expertise without supervision.
- Clearly communicate any concerns, suggestions, or feedback in a non-defensive manner.
- Adhere to HACCP cleaning and food handling standards to maintain impeccable kitchen cleanliness.
- Continuously demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with prior pastry experience in a relevant position preferred.
- Must demonstrate familiarity with a la carte food preparation and safe handling of kitchen equipment.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP cleaning standards is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and safety are essential.
- Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a pleasant and positive attitude.
Salary:
Pay starts at a minimum of $20.000/hour for entry-level culinary candidates.
