The Kitchen Tech III is responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. This position requires advanced knowledge and experience in low and high pressure steam, electrical controls, and natural gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various electrical and mechanical equipment and will be able to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to address and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment necessary for repairs and replacements.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and advancements in kitchen and laundry technology.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Solid understanding of low and high pressure steam, electrical controls, and natural gas systems.
- Experience working with various electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work as scheduled, including weekends and holidays.
