Job Summary:
The Community Relations team will be responsible for overseeing all company social impact initiatives related to community outreach and environmental impact. This role will involve acting as the company representative for community service events and campaigns. Overseeing community outreach and environmental impact efforts for the hotel, including: furniture/goods donations, paid volunteer benefit program, The Breakers GIVES website, develops and maintains relationships with charities, and consults/implements volunteer events for departments. Please note that this position is temporary until September 2026.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on social impact initiatives.
- Strong understanding of community outreach strategies and environmental impact assessments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company in various community events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social impact initiatives to support community outreach and environmental sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of social impact efforts with company values and objectives.
- Serve as a key contact for community partners, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
- Organize and participate in community service events and campaigns to promote positive social impact.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social impact programs and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on social responsibility trends and best practices to continuously improve the company's impact.
